40 graduates. Countless hours of hard work. One unforgettable celebration. 🩺🎓

Last week, we celebrated 40 Pickaway-Ross Practical Nursing graduates during their Pinning and Completion Ceremony! Surrounded by family, friends and instructors, these graduates marked the completion of their program and an exciting step toward their nursing careers.

Congratulations to each of our graduates, and thank you to everyone who supported them along the way. We’re proud to celebrate this milestone with you! 💙

Our students took the lead in sharing what makes Pickaway-Ross special! 👏

Earlier this month, we welcomed U.S. Representative Dave Taylor to campus for a closer look at the hands-on career training happening in our labs. Our student ambassadors led the tour, highlighting our programs, campus expansion and the opportunities students have to prepare for their futures.

Thank you, Congressman Taylor, for taking the time to learn about our students’ work and the role career technical education plays in preparing our region’s workforce!

Meet Carson McCloskey! Carson graduated from the Culinary Arts program at Pickaway-Ross CTC and turned his dream of owning a food truck into a reality!

With hard work, determination, and support from his family, Carson opened Carson's Royal Confections, where he's serving up sweet treats to his community.

Carson's story is a great reminder that there are many paths to meaningful employment, and sometimes that means creating your own opportunities!

Meet Preston Weaver, a Diesel & Heavy Truck Mechanics senior on job placement at Cardinal Transportation. He's putting his technical training to work in the field and bringing home a paycheck while building his career in the diesel industry. 🔧💰

Connecting our students with the people and possibilities in manufacturing! ⚙️🤖

As part of Manufacturing Month, we welcomed representatives from Anduril, Centrus, COMP, Tykma, Telesis, KW and EPC to campus. Our visitors met with students and teachers in our RAMTEC (Robotics & Manufacturing) and Precision Machining & CNC programs.

These connections help students see how the skills they build in our labs connect to careers across our region.

Thank you to everyone who visited, invested time in our students, and supported the next generation of manufacturing professionals!

With winter approaching, our Commercial Carpentry seniors on job placement received something they can put to work right away: Carhartt jackets embroidered with their names and our program logo!

These jackets will keep students warm as they build skills and gain workforce experience. They were made possible by generous donations from:

Turning up the heat on creativity at Logan Elm! 🔥🌸

Students in our Industrial Arts satellite program at Logan Elm High School are combining craftsmanship and creativity under the guidance of instructor Mr. Manson. In a recent lesson, students learned to use the forge to add color to metal flowers they welded and fabricated.

With students welding, grinding, and forging throughout the lab, Mr. Manson’s shop offers hands-on opportunities to build skills and bring ideas to life!
