Voter turnout so far has been low. This midterm is extremely important and could potentially impact the direction of how things go over the next six years. Please vote! 🇺🇸

I was able to attend a great event this past weekend in North Myrtle Beach, that helped create awareness and raise money for the victims of domestic violence. Big thanks to Justin Nelson and Gone Coastal Carts for helping make the event a success. Thanks also to GFWC North Myrtle Beach Women’s Club for all they do. 🇺🇸

I want to give a quick update on how things are going. This past Wednesday was my last day with the Rowan-Salisbury School System as the Director of Safety and Crisis Management. It was bittersweet because I was extremely proud of the work we were doing and the things I was able to accomplish during the last year and a half. I want to give a huge thanks to RSS for giving me the opportunity to make an impact.

Now it’s time to move on to the next phase, which is the transition back to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office. I’m excited about what we have planned and the opportunity to move the office and this county forward.

Right now, I’m focused on the transition and the upcoming November elections. Please remember that even though I won the primary and I’m running unopposed, everyone still needs to come out and vote in the general election on November 3rd. There are a lot of great candidates running for other positions, so let’s make an impact with our votes!

Lastly, I want to thank everyone for the overwhelming support I’ve received and the continued positive outlook for the future. Great things are coming… so please stay tuned! 🇺🇸

I spent some time in the Mayberry Jail today at Happy’s Farm, all for a good cause. My bond was set by F&M Bank’s Tonya Barber, and all proceeds will help sponsor literacy programs in Rowan County. Great turnout and great fun, all while raising enough money to make my bond. Thanks to all who volunteered and participated. 🇺🇸
