Please be aware that someone is passing fake money in the area. Over the weekend a fake twenty dollar bill was used in Chinook. A locale resident was also given a fake ten dollar bill as change from a business in Havre. The twenty dollar bill said “copy money only” and the ten dollar bill said “ motion picture use only”. Please take the time to look at all bills before putting the in your wallet.

Newest Update: all items were recovered!

Update for clarification: Sunday’s tithes and offerings were locked away and secured, they were not touched.

This is a post I (Pastor Dylan) am saddened to make.

Between the hours of 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 5th, and 10:30 AM on Monday, April 6th, our church was broken into.

Along with the vandalism, several items were taken that directly impact our ability to minister effectively to our congregation and our community. Law enforcement has been notified, and due to the value of the stolen property, this is being treated as a felony.

There is a monetary reward being offered by an outside benefactor for information leading to the return of these items.

If the individual(s) responsible would return the property and meet with me personally, there may be an opportunity to resolve this without charges being pursued.
