Succession planning doesn't have to be a "shoebox" of confusing papers. Farms registered for our upcoming Cultivating Your Farm's Future workshop series receive a 66-page workbook to guide you through a proven three-step process:

1️⃣ Where are you now?
2️⃣ Where do you want to be?
3️⃣ How do you get there?

For just $200 per farm, your whole family can participate. Each farm receives one workbook and publication, plus a learner guide for each registered participant. Materials will be mailed in time for the November 12 start date.

Join us for a free Garden Hour at the Chippewa Falls Community Garden on Saturday, September 19, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Take a guided mindfulness walk through the garden and enjoy simple breathing and sensory activities that help you slow down and connect with nature. Participants of all ages can also create sun prints using flowers and leaves.

🎃 Fall Pumpkin Planter Workshop 🍂

Looking for a fun and unique fall decoration? Join UW-Madison Extension Horticulture Educator Margaret Murphy and create your own pumpkin planter to celebrate the season. Participants will create a festive fall display to take home!

This year, the UW–Madison Extension Wisconsin Water and Soil Health Conference has 90 full scholarships available for first-time farmer attendees that cover two-day registration, a hotel night, and dinner.

If you've never made it to WWASH, this is the year. Two days with farmers, agronomists, and researchers working through your soil health and water quality questions. Preference goes to first-time farmer attendees, but everyone's encouraged to apply.
