❤️💙 We are so grateful for our amazing PTA! 💙❤️

Our PTA is truly at the heart of our school community. Their time, dedication, and support help make so many wonderful things possible for our students and staff. We couldn’t do what we do without them, and we are so thankful to have such an incredible team supporting Birchwood ABC!

Meet Birchwood’s newest Branch Manager!

His responsibilities include overnight security, tree inspections, and unauthorized berry removal.

His performance review is still pending, but since he’s basically appointed himself to the night shift, we figure he deserves an official name!

Help us name Birchwood’s newest (and furriest) employee!

🧹❤️ A BIG shoutout to our amazing BPO, Mr. John! ❤️🧹

Friday was National Custodian Day, and we couldn’t let it pass without celebrating someone who is such an important part of our BWABC family.

Mr. John does so much more than keep our school clean and safe and he knows every single student by name! He greets our kids and genuinely cares about each and every one of them. That connection with our students is something truly special.

We are so lucky to have Mr. John taking care of our building and, more importantly, taking care of our people. Thank you for everything you do for our students and staff each and every day!

And because we know Mr. John loves sourdough bread, Principal Hershman baked a loaf especially for him! 🍞❤️ It’s just one small way to say thank you for all the care and heart he brings to our school every day.

Happy (belated) National Custodian Day, Mr. John!

Well, apparently we have a new daily visitor at BWABC… and he didn’t even enroll! 😂

Our neighborhood black bear has decided that our campus is a pretty great place to hang out and has been making regular appearances. While we appreciate his commitment to visiting, we’d prefer he admire our school from a safe distance!

Please use extra caution, especially when arriving, leaving, or spending time outside. Keep your distance, never approach or feed him, and give our furry friend plenty of space.

We love our BWABC community… but we’re going to draw the line at bears in the classroom!
