💃 Join us next week for Spirit Week! 🕺

To get ready for the dance next Friday, students will earn raffle tickets for participating. Tickets will be handed out during lunch, and raffle winners will receive free concessions at the dance.

🏈 Monday - Kickoff Day: Wear gear from your favorite sports team.
👕 Tuesday - Flannel Day: Wear your favorite flannel.
👩‍🏫 Wednesday - Teacher/Student Swap Day: Students dress like teachers, and teachers dress like students.
🍂 Thursday - It's Fall, Y'all!: Wear fall colors or fall-themed clothing.
👻 Friday - Halloween Costumes: Wear a school-appropriate Halloween costume.

We can't wait to see what your student comes dressed as!

📚 Battle of the Books Starts Next Week! 📚

Battle of the Books starts the week of October 19th! 6th Grade students will meet with Ms. Waisanen on Mondays at lunch, and 7th/8th Grade students will meet on Wednesdays in the library during lunches.

If your student is interested in joining, they can see Mrs. Barber in the library for more information.

Join us next Tuesday for Orange Shirt Day! 🧡

Orange Shirt Day is observed on September 30th. It is a day for remembrance and reconciliation, raising awareness of the intergenerational trauma caused by Indigenous residential schools and boarding schools in both Canada and the U.S.

Orange Shirt Day commemorates the residential school experience, witnessing and honoring the healing journey of the Survivors and their families.

Please join us for this day of remembrance and reconciliation by wearing an Orange Shirt to school!
