Beach pollution needs a solution. The decades-long Tijuana River sewage crisis closes beaches, affects neighborhoods and businesses, and creates health concerns for residents and visitors. Measure B could fund projects that would capture and treat sewage, improve water quality, restore habitat and respond to health problems linked to the crisis.

Celebrating the people behind the impact.

Recently, MAAC staff came together to recognize the teamwork, dedication, and commitment that helped make this year a success through our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, Weatherization (WX) services, and the San Diego Solid Waste Management Fee Financial Assistance Program.

The gathering also celebrated achievements connected to recent recognition from the City of San Diego Environmental Services Department and the United Way Partner of the Year distinction, highlighting the collective effort behind these accomplishments.

Thank you to every team member whose hard work, compassion, and collaboration continue to strengthen communities and create opportunities for the families we serve. Together, we're building vibrant communities across San Diego County.
