Surprise! Attendance Matters!

Students at Church Hill Elementary had a sweet surprise on Friday, October 2! To celebrate showing up and being present, every student in attendance enjoyed popsicles during the day.

Wondering when the next Surprise Attendance Day will be? That’s the fun part—you never know when one will pop up! Make sure to set those alarm clocks, get plenty of rest, and BE PRESENT every day so you don't miss out on the next big celebration!

Happy Fall Break! Just a reminder that Hawkins County Schools will be on Fall Break October 5th-9th. We will see everyone on Monday, October 12th!

09/29/2026

Beginning on Monday, October 12th our main office will be closed daily from 2:50 PM to 3:15 PM. Closing the office during this time ensures all staff members are available to assist with a safe and smooth dismissal.

Please take note of the following important updates:
• Transportation Changes: Please notify us of any transportation changes prior to 2:45 PM so we have enough time to inform your child’s teacher.

• Early Pickups: If you need to pick up your child early for an appointment, please do so before 2:50 PM.

• Attendance Reminder: Minutes missed during early sign-outs count against your allotted parent notes.

Thank you for your support and flexibility as we implement these updates to keep our school running safely and efficiently.
