Cincinnati picks assistant chief to promote as new head of fire department The new Cincinnati Fire Department chief will be a 25-year veteran of the department who most recently led the fire prevention and community risk reduction division.

Q67 Crew assisted Anderson Township FD tonight on a 2 story residential structure fire. Dispatch to on scene time was 5 minutes. Flames showing from A/D corner when crews arrived. Great work from both Anderson and Mariemont crews.

With the Time Change tonight, this is a good reminder to change your smoke detector batteries. Smoke detectors save lives.

Yesterday Crews Responded on Wooster Pike for a reported structure fire. When crews arrived they found smoke coming from multiple locations of a single family dwelling. Crews confirmed that all occupants were out of the structure and quickly extinguished the fire.

We would like to thank the Little Miami Fire Department, Anderson Township Fire Department, Sycamore Township Fire Department, Deer Park-Silverton Joint Fire District, Madeira & Indian Hill Fire Fire Department and the Milford Community Fire Department For their assistance.

We would like to also thank the Mariemont Police Department, Fairfax Police Department, Newtown Police Department and the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office for providing traffic control during the incident.
