Wear Purple Day is October 15!

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and Hamilton County Juvenile Court is joining our community in standing with survivors, raising awareness, and reminding those experiencing domestic violence that they are not alone.

This Thursday, wear purple to show your support and help bring attention to an issue that affects individuals and families from all walks of life.

October is National Bullying Prevention Month!

Every child deserves to feel safe, valued, accepted, and included — at school, at home, online, and in our communities.

Bullying can have lasting effects on a young person’s confidence, mental health, and well-being. Prevention starts with all of us: teaching kindness, encouraging empathy, recognizing warning signs, and making sure young people know they have someone they can turn to.

At Hamilton County Juvenile Court, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive in a safe and supportive environment.

This year’s awards received a record number of nominations, making this recognition especially meaningful.

Recognizing the warning signs, having difficult conversations, and connecting families with support early can make a difference. No one experiencing domestic violence should have to navigate it alone.

Hamilton County Juvenile Court and 12 county and city organizations announce the collaborative “Hamilton County Systems Partners,” to intervene early, connect families to resources, and limit involvement in the child protection and juvenile justice systems.

Juvenile Court can be complicated, and we believe the public deserves clear, accurate information about how our Court works.

That’s why we’re launching Myth Busters — a new series focused on transparency, answering common questions, clearing up misconceptions, and sharing the facts behind our policies, programs and processes.

We’re starting with the Unofficial Docket: what it is, how cases are reviewed, who may be eligible, and what accountability looks like.

Our goal is simple: give our community the facts and help you better understand the work happening inside Hamilton County Juvenile Court.
