1st grade students in Mrs. Nelson's class are testing their puppet show scene materials to see if their shadows will meet the design goals for their project. Students are looking to create a background that has bright areas, medium bright areas, and dark areas.

The countdown is officially ON! With state testing just around the corner in April, March is a critical month to lock in everything we’ve learned.

To keep the energy high and the classrooms full, we’re kicking off a Grade Level Attendance Competition all month long!

The Stakes:
🏆 The grade level with the highest attendance percentage for March wins a PIZZA PARTY! 🍕🥤

The 5th graders in Mrs. Tighe's Science Class have been investigating how mass impacts force and energy! In this experiment, they rolled a marble and a tennis ball into a line of dominos and recorded data about what happened. Students observed that the tennis ball, which has more mass, transferred more energy and knocked down the dominos with greater force. This investigation helped students see how mass affects motion.
