Over 100 years ago, residents of Cincinnati, Ohio had a dream: to ease downtown congestion by traveling on underground rail. From 1916-1928, an extensive rapid transit system was erected underneath the streets of Cincinnati but never carried a single passenger. The 13-mile project was ultimately stopped short after completing a total of 6 miles of infrastructure and 2.2 miles of underground tunnels. Now, over a century later, the story continues as the city is still impacted from the lack of a regional rail system...

Three years ago today, the site of Cincinnati Bell Connector maintenance facility was in the early stages of construction.
All that remains of one building being demolished for maintenance facility. That was quick!
