100 Years of Memories, Friendships and Eagle Pride! ❤️

A century of history. Countless memories. One incredible school family!

Today, Delhi Middle School welcomed back former staff members to join current staff for a special luncheon celebrating 100 years of Delhi Middle School!

It was a heartwarming event filled with familiar faces, warm hugs, laughter and stories that brought back wonderful memories. Seeing former colleagues reconnect, share a laugh and reminisce about their years together was a beautiful reminder that while the years may pass, the friendships and bonds formed at Delhi Middle School last a lifetime.

Buildings hold history, but it's the people who make a school truly special. For 100 years, generations of dedicated educators and staff have helped shape the lives of countless students and created a legacy that continues today.

Here's to 100 years of memories, friendships and the people who made Delhi Middle School a place so many are proud to call home!

Current Oak Hills Local School District students in grades 8-10 who take Spanish are being offered an educational travel opportunity to Peru in the summer of 2028. These immersive learning experiences help students develop lifelong skills and characteristics that will help them with their career and college readiness and global competence.

There is an upcoming Parent Information meeting to learn more about the trip on Tuesday, October 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Ione Holt Auditorium at Oak Hills High School.

Families are invited to hear author Kiara Berry discuss her book, 'Which Cape Will I Wear Today', on Tuesday, October 20 in the Commons at Oak Hills High School.

The event runs from 6:30-8 p.m. and you do need to register for this event. Scan the QR code on the flyer to sign up today! Thanks to the Oak Hills Book Bus for bringing this event to OHHS.

Elementary students in our Spanish Immersion Program held a special District Showcase this week at J.F. Dulles Elementary celebrating their accomplishments and highlighting all of the amazing things they are learning as part of the program!

Parents and students interested stopped by the event to learn more about the program. The students shared projects, artwork and papers they wrote as part of the showcase. It was great to see such a wonderful crowd at the event!

Mother Nature held off the rain long enough this morning for our Delshire Elementary students to enjoy their Walk-A-Thon. Students walked through the neighborhood, played a bunch of fun games, had some healthy snacks and then spent time running and jumping around in the bounce houses. It was a great way to end the first quarter of school!

Thank you to all of the Delshire staff, the students, our wonderful parent volunteers, the Delshire PTA, and everyone who sponsored this year's event.

Rapid Run Middle School hosted the always popular 'Muffins With Me' the past two mornings, an event where students could invite a someone special in their lives to come to school, enjoy some breakfast treats and take a tour of the building. It was a great opportunity for our students to spend some quality time with those people making a positive impact in their lives!

Thank you to all of our guests who came to visit the past two mornings and a big SHOUT OUT to everyone who donated muffins and baked goods from this wonderful event.

Oak Hills Local School District is hosting a Project Reboot presentation on Wednesday, October 21 that is open to any parent in the school district.

What is Project Reboot? Project Reboot is a program designed to help middle school, high school, and college students address tech addiction and manage their screen time.

Dino Ambrosi, the founder of Project Reboot, has helped over 60,000 students and parents build healthier relationships with technology and will be speaking with parents on Wednesday, October 21. The session will be hosted at Oak Hills High School from 6:30-8:00. We hope to see you there!

Family, friends, teammates and fellow students gathered this morning to give junior tennis player Renee Harper a rousing traditional Highlander State Tournament Send Off at Oak Hills High School!

Renee, who qualified for state by finishing second in singles at the Division 1 District Tournament last week, begins play tomorrow at the OHSAA State Tennis Tournament held at the Lindner Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio. Thanks to everyone who came out to support Renee as she begins her state tennis journey!
