It’s simple: the Cincinnati Zoo wouldn’t be the same without water!🐘💧

Water supports every animal, habitat, and unforgettable zoo experience.

When you take away water, you take away the very thing that ensures animals and our community thrive.

A special thank you to the Cincinnati Zoo keepers and team for welcoming us and helping shine a light on the importance of clean, reliable water!

Today, join us in recognizing the value of water and why protecting it matters. 💙

💧 50 years ago today, GCWW looked beyond the Ohio River and tapped into something extraordinary!

On October 1, 1976, the Charles M. Bolton Plant went into service, expanding GCWW’s drinking water supply by tapping into the groundwater of the Great Miami Aquifer. Five decades later, it remains a critical part of the infrastructure that helps deliver safe, high-quality drinking water to our customers every day!

As we celebrate the plant’s 50th anniversary during , we’re also recognizing the importance of protecting the aquifer that makes it all possible.

Here’s to 50 years of resilience, reliability, and protecting the water beneath our feet!

Today at Holy Family in East Price Hill, we celebrated the progress being made through H2Ohio to reduce lead exposure and protect children’s health. We’re grateful to Mike DeWine , the State of Ohio, and the ohioepa for investing in lead service line replacement and helping GCWW replace lead lines at virtually all licensed childcare facilities in our service area.

Every child deserves access to safe, clean drinking water, regardless of where they live. Together, we’re protecting children’s health and building a stronger future for generations to come!💧💙💧
