Natashja Lusk recently completed her Master of Arts degree in Sensory Impairments (with a specialization in Orientation & Mobility) from The Ohio State University College of Education and Human Ecology, and was co-hooded by Clovernook Director of Program Services, Dr. Kelly Lusk (pictured with Natashja), and OSU professor, Dr. Danene Fast. She started her journey into the BVI field 3 years ago volunteering at Clovernook Camp Abilities Ohio in 2023, and worked with us for the past year as a graduate student intern! Congratulations, Tashja!

Last week, ENG 394 students from Northern Kentucky University (NKU) presented their final projects, all designed to support Clovernook initiatives. Multiple students, inspired by the impact of Clovernook's Tactile Literacy program, spent the semester designing accessible and educational 3D models that will help Clovernook support BVI students around the world. πŸ€

Clovernook Center is an ArtAround host site for the Ohio Arts Council's "Arts Impact Ohio" conference this month. As a host site, we welcomed AIO conference attendees to visit the braille printing house to tour the space, discuss accessibility practices in the arts, and workshop tactile production strategies

The Kenya Regional Braille Challenge, the first braille challenge event held in Africa, kicks off today. More than 700 visually impaired students will compete at one of four events over the next few days. Clovernook Center is proud to support the students, @ and our partners in Kenya during this inaugural event.

Last week, we celebrated the 2026 Boldly BVI Award winners at our annual Boldly BVI breakfast. This year’s event was held at the American Sign Museum and it was truly spectacular. The event featured breakfast, a live auction and tours of the museum in addition to the award presentation.
