So many wonderful and convenient locations hosting CAIN Coat Drive Donation bins! We're accepting new or gently worn coats of all sizes to help ensure our neighbors have the warmth they need as the temperature drops.

Children's coats are always the first to go, so financial donations are also appreciated. Monetary gifts will be used to purchase additional children's coats from Once Upon a Child and help us fill gaps as needs arise.

A quick stop and a simple donation can make a big difference for a local family. Thanks for helping us take care of one another 🫶✨

Looking for a meaningful way to give back without a huge time commitment?

We're seeking volunteers to provide child care support every other Wednesday evening during ESL classes at Annette's House.

While parents focus on improving their English skills, volunteers supervise children in a nearby room, helping create a fun, safe environment through play and activities. No Spanish language skills are required. Since the time is largely unstructured play, volunteers find that communication barriers are rarely a challenge.

Why does this matter? When parents know their children are safe and cared for, they're able to fully engage in class, practice their English, and build skills that strengthen their families and futures.

This biweekly opportunity is perfect for professionals who work during the day but are looking for a manageable way to make a real difference in their community.

The benefits to volunteering are many, including better mental health, lower stress and a sense of purpose.

Another beneficial outcome is fostering connections, which helps to create a sense of community and belonging.

Seeing these connections strengthened within our Monday volunteer group has been rewarding to witness.

If you are looking for community, consider volunteering with us. We welcome everyone
