When paraprofessionals feel connected and supported, we all benefit! ๐Ÿ’š

During our districtwide professional development on Friday, FHSD paraprofessionals had the opportunity to learn and share with each other during the Paraprofessional Showcase. After receiving training on specialized topics, several paraprofessionals brought back what they learned and presented their new knowledge to their colleagues.

The result? An afternoon filled with learning from one another, meaningful dialogue and thoughtful ideas for strengthening the support we provide to students!

Aspire is off to an incredible start! ๐ŸŒŸ

Aspire is a leadership development program for select sophomores from Anderson and Turpin High Schools, giving students opportunities to build skills theyโ€™ll use as leaders in school, their careers and the community.

Students kicked off the year at NewPath Child & Family Solutions with people-to-people activities and outdoor obstacles designed to challenge their teamwork, creativity, communication and problem-solving skills.

And then came a fun surprise: Bengals players Cedric Johnson and Chris Jenkins joined! ๐Ÿ… Their commitment to being positive role models in our community made an already memorable day even better.

Thank you to the NewPath team for an unforgettable start to the Aspire experience! Aspire is offered in partnership with the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce and generously supported by the Forest Hills Foundation for Education and the Bob and Jeanne Coughlin Foundation.
