From the graduation stage to the pole vaulting runway.

Turpin High School senior Claire Iaciofano (now officially an alum) competed at the district pole vaulting competition on Saturday - but not before walking the graduation stage with her classmates. Claire accepted her diploma and traveled straight from Turpin's graduation ceremony to the district competition, where she impressively vaulted 12’6” with no warm ups or run throughs.

She is now moving onto Regionals, seeking a third state championship in this event. What a great day for Claire!

📣 Staff Shoutout! 📣 Brooke Lovely, Kindergarten Teacher at Summit Elementary

Mrs. Lovely is a dedicated kindergarten teacher who consistently goes above and beyond for her students. She encourages and inspires them to be learners, and her ability to positively connect with students has created a safe and comfortable learning environment. Here is what Mrs. Lovely’s nominator specifically shared: “Our [child] loves coming to school to learn with Ms. Lovely! They then carry that over at home as they role-play school at home.”

Thank you, Mrs. Lovely, for your inspiring dedication to students, providing a foundation for some of our youngest learners!

To mark the end of state testing, Sherwood Archers celebrated their hard work with a "Floor Is Lava" obstacle course! 🌋 Students enjoyed the ~volcanic~ ambiance and the variety of activities where they couldn't touch the floor - or risk stepping into lava!

Sharing more memories and smiling faces from Camp Kern! 🌲🎣☀️

A core experience for FHSD 5th graders, Camp Kern wouldn’t be possible without the work and support of the wonderful teachers, staff and high school counselors who make it happen. Thank you to everyone who made Camp Kern an unforgettable experience for these 5th graders!

Around the world in a single school day. 🌎✈

Ayer Elementary hosted its annual Global Adventure Day today! Students "traveled" the world, trying different foods, making crafts and more. Each grade level covers a different continent of the world, so students will "travel the world" by the time they graduate from Ayer!

This day full of enriching activities is fully funded by the Ayer PTO! Thank you to everyone, including the nearly 200 volunteers today, who have made this fun tradition possible!

‼️Raptor Families‼️ Do you have new or gently used school supplies that you won't be needing anymore? Anderson High School’s National Honors Society chapter is hosting a backpack cleanout supply drive to help restock Raptor Resources!

The collection runs from May 14-22!

Raptor Resources is a student-led, donation-based program run by Anderson’s NHS with the goal of providing accessible and free school supplies for all students.

NHS would greatly appreciate new or gently used:

📓 Notebooks
📎 Paper
✏️ Writing utensils
📁 Folders
📕 Binders

Donations would directly support AHS students! This is a great opportunity to support students and get ready for summer break!

Supplies are being collected at a table next to Raptor Resources.
