As we close out Women’s History Month, I would like to salute the Women of the Human Resources Department for the City of Cincinnati. You are all amazing and it’s an honor to serve with you. I am glad that each of you are part of our HR Team.

On the second stop of the Dayton tour - the CPI team and Cincinnati Police Department stopped by Wilberforce University for the 2024 Career Expo. "Wilberforce University is the nation's oldest private, historically black University owned and operated by African Americans." Students were given information about careers in City Of Cincinnati Government and introduced to the many jobs we offer.

The CPI team and Cincinnati Police Department teamed up for a few events in Dayton. We started with Wright State University's Spring 2024 Career & Internship Fair. Wright State is best known for their high-ranking online graduate programs in engineering, business, and nursing. We spoke with students about the various job opportunities with the City of Cincinnati.

Central HR along with, Cincinnati Emergency Communications Center, the Department of Transportation & Engineering and the Citizen Complaint Authority visited the Indian Hill Exempted Village School District during Career Day.

Staff met with 10th grade students in small groups. Staff shared Department duties, what a typical day involves, the career paths followed by Q & A with the students.
