Click It or Ticket is a national high-visibility enforcement campaign that focuses specifically on the consequences of not wearing a seat belt while urging riders to always buckle up.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, unbuckled occupants account for a death in a passengerโ€™s vehicle every 54 minutes. Young adults (18-34) and pickup truck drivers have the highest rates of unbuckled fatalities. Wearing a seat belt correctly cuts the risk of a fatal injury by 50%.

Your Colerain Township Police Officers will continue to work a STEP grant through the Ohio Department of Public Safety in conjunction with the Click It or Ticket campaign through the end of May 2026.
