Healthy Aging Summit 💙

Hundreds of older adults, caregivers, and community partners came together today in Forest Park with the Hamilton County 513Relief Bus and Council on Aging to celebrate Older Americans Month and connect residents with critical resources designed to help seniors age safely, independently, and with dignity.

Today also marked the official launch of the Hamilton County Senior Utility Assistance Program (https://www.help4seniors.org/programs-services/senior-utility-home-repair-assistance/steps-to-stability-hamilton-county/), helping eligible older adults with Duke Energy utility costs while expanding access to home repair assistance and supportive services across the county.

From free health screenings and workshops to one-on-one assistance and community connections, the Healthy Aging Summit highlighted Hamilton County’s continued investment in the people who helped build our community.

Thank you to our 50+ community partners, volunteers, and everyone who helped make today’s event a success!
