With September here and vacation time over, spend some time improving your communication and leadership skills with Cincinnati Toastmasters. We are an inexpensive and supportive club meeting every 2nd and 4th Mondays from 7 to 8:15pm at Madisonville Recreation Center, 5320 Stewart Rd., 45227. You are welcome to come as a guest until you determine if we can assist you in reaching those goals with which we specialize in.

I heard this quote from an interview with Seth Godin when he was asked about his process for writing a keynote presentation: "A presentation is a transfer of emotion." He went on to say that if people want to hear his words, they can just read one of his books. I thought it was a great reminder if what public speaking is really about.

Cincinnati Toastmasters will be conducting their International Speech & Table Topics Contest on Monday, November 22nd at 7pm. It will be held at the Madisonville Recreation Center, 5320 Stewart Rd.
