On this Friday (May 29), at LOCAL 12, WKRC-TV Health and Retirement Expo already connecting with Veterans. Starts at 12, here until 3!

Kicking off this Friday welcoming officers from Cincinnati Police Department at our new location at 1701 Patricia McCollum Way.

The Department is here for a day-long training with the topic focused on working effectively with Veterans. Most of the officers in attendance today are Veterans themselves. It’s a special privilege to have so many (40-plus) in the house!

Our Executive Director Glenn Welling had the opportunity to speak at the start of the training to share resources for Veterans. He also encouraged Veterans who are officers to seek assistance from our office to file a claim or research benefits for which they might be entitled.

FUN FACT: One of the benefits of our new location is that we have space to host community groups.

On this Memorial Day, we remember and honor with deepest gratitude all the fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives so that we live freely.

Update: We will hold our annual Memorial Day Ceremony indoors on Monday due to the potential for rain and storms.
