Cincinnati Heavy Rescue 9

Heavy Rescue 9 is one of two Rescue Companies in the Cincinnati Fire Department. The crews also provide training for recruits and fire companies.

Formed in 2006 Heavy Rescue 9 is one of 2 technical rescue teams in Cincinnati tasked with: Hazardous Materials Response and rescues involving :high angle (rope), confined space, building collapse, ice, water, trench, and vehicle extrication.
