Did you spot our friend Xavier Pierre and his Maw Maw's Creole Kitchen food truck at BLINK last weekend? All of those eye-catching posters, banners, and menus were printed right here in our Forest Park MakerSpace!

We love seeing local entrepreneurs use library resources to elevate their businesses and bring their ideas to life. MakerSpaces aren't just about creativity. They're also about opportunity, entrepreneurship, and helping small businesses succeed.

Do you remember visiting the Parkdale Branch? We'd love to hear your memories in the comments!

The Parkdale Branch Library at 655 Waycross Road was dedicated on September 14, 1969. At the time it was the largest suburban library in the county. In 2001, the Parkdale Branch was renamed Forest Park Branch Library to better reflect the community it serves. Our current location opened exactly 55 years later on September 14, 2024!
