October is Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Awareness Month!

AAC allows individuals with limited verbal speech to communicate using low- to high-tech communication systems. Thank you to all of our speech-language pathologists who help our clients unlock new communication possibilities!

Thank you to Meteorologist Allison Rogers of WLWT for giving a tour of the news station to The Discovery Project/neurodiverse employment initiative! Allison gave the students behind-the-scenes access to the newscast and gave valuable insights into careers in meteorology and digital media.

What an amazing experience for these young adults as they consider future careers!

We are so proud of Pre-Employment Transition Services program participant Annie, who recently started volunteering at an animal shelter as part of our pre-vocational program, putting her passion for animals into practice!

It’s been incredible watching her turn personal interests into a way to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact in our community. Way to go, Annie!
