Earlier last month, we were thrilled to be selected by Fidelity Flash Consulting for a day of training! Together, we worked through potential growth strategies that will help us achieve our agency’s goals and make a meaningful impact in our community. Adult Day Services at our Ft. Mitchell campus had some special visitors! Last month, baby therapy goats from Gilliam Greenish Acres came to visit and spread some joy! Thank you Gilliam Greenish Acres!

We are proud to be part of the many nonprofits in the Cincinnati area, who are providing an amazing space for employees, clients, and partners to come together and build up our community!

Easterseals Redwood's $30 million expansion was no small feat. As our President and CEO, Pam Green, shared, "Getting into real estate is an incredibly daunting experience. Prior to our capital campaign, we had never had a single gift of $1 million or more in our history as an agency." Thanks to MacKenzie Scott, who donated $6 million to our project in 2020, and our other generous donors, our new home became a reality. Today, we can better serve veterans, children and adults with disabilities, and people facing economic challenges right here at our newly expanded and renovated Walnut Hills campus.

We are just one of over 50 nonprofits across the region that have invested in new facilities, proof that our community continues to show up for the organizations doing the work.

Recently, our Ft. Mitchell campus held their Adult’s Prom! Folks had snacks and drinks, celebrated the prom King, Queen, and their runner-ups, and danced the night away! Everyone was “On Cloud 9!”

Whether you’re a DIY beginner or just love giving old items a second life, this hands-on workshop is a great way to learn a useful skill while keeping reusable items out of the trash. May is National Speech-Language-Hearing Month!

More than 40 million Americans experience speech, language, or hearing challenges. Easterseals Redwood wants to highlight the importance of communication in everyday life and help foster an understanding around communication disorders. Professionals, like speech-language pathologists and audiologists, play a huge role in improving the lives of their clients.

Communication connects us all, and when we support every voice, we strengthen our entire community!

Recently, seven YouthBuild students went to Axis Interior Systems, Inc. for a training session on flooring installation. The students learned how to place various types of flooring, including carpet, hardwood, and tile. The students had a great time seeing new facets of construction in action! Thank you Axis!

This Memorial Day, we honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their legacy is continued by the brave and committed soldiers who serve today. Thank you for all you do.

Join us for the sixth annual Honor Ride on August 22nd at Miami Whitewater Park for a morning of remembrance, and meaningful community support. The Honor Ride is a non-competitive, family-friendly event open to all ages and abilities. This year, the Honor Ride returns with a new twist, Ride, Ruck, and Roll! Proceeds benefit Easterseals Redwood’s Military & Veteran Services, helping veterans and their families navigate challenges like unemployment, homelessness, and disconnection. Whether you ruck solo, rally a team, or ride for fun, every mile makes a difference.
