The Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati is accepting applications for Summer 2027 2L Law Clerks. We're passionate about making the justice system fair and accessible to all. If you want to assist families in need while gaining experience in public interest law, we encourage you to apply!

Key qualifications include a strong academic record, good organizational and communication skills, and a completed second year of law school before summer 2027. Law students in their second year will receive $19.50/hour per week and will work full-time in the office for 8-10 weeks, beginning in May.

The Legal Aid Society will be closed on Monday, October 12, in honor of Indigenous Peoples' Day. We will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13.

Did you know that the Adena, Shawnee, Hopewell, Miami, and Lenape (Delaware) peoples lived in Greater Cincinnati?

Learn how their history and culture still impact us today by visiting sites such as the Shawnee Lookout, pictured above, and the Cincinnati Museum Center. You can also learn from cultural centers and organizations that preserve this past and look to the future of indigenous peoples everywhere.
