Despite the snow and freezing temperatures, January Connector ridership numbers show a strong start to the year with 64,951 riders - up 10,374 riders from January 2025. Thanks to all our riders who value the streetcar as much as we do!

A lot of folks don’t know, but the works with transit, too! Today, our local surface transportation office stopped by to recognize our system for the high priority we place on ensuring the safety and security of our riders and team members.

As everyone continues to dig out, remember that trains are still operating. Continue to park as close to the curb as possible, watch for streetcars while you’re shoveling, and don’t forget that the top of the rails are VERY slippery.

Started service on time this morning, trying to keep our standard headways every 12-15 minutes to provide a safe and warm option to get from OTR to the CBD and back. Huge thanks to for the hard work of their crews in keeping our tracks clear.

Our team is working hard to keep service running. We’re on track (see what I did there) to conclude service tonight at our normal time (9:30pm). Crews will be in early to assess conditions for service tomorrow. Stay tuned to our socials for updates if we need to delay. Stay safe!

As the winter storm begins, we are committed to operating regular service for as long as possible during the event. Our staff are monitoring conditions and we will provide any updates or alerts on our social media channels and at station stops should we need shut down for safety.
