🏡💗 REAL PEOPLE. REAL PROGRESS. REAL IMPACT.
WANDA WAY HOMES | OUR FIRST-YEAR COMMUNITY IMPACT REPORT IS HERE! 🎉
One year of partnership. One year of progress. Countless opportunities for second chances!
We are proud to share our First-Year Community Impact Report, highlighting the difference Wanda Way Homes has made through our partnership with the City of Cincinnati Human Services Fund and the support of our community partners.
When we talk about recovery, we're talking about more than sobriety. We're talking about people rebuilding their lives, finding employment, maintaining stable housing, reconnecting with their families, improving their mental health, and discovering that their future can look different from their past.
📊 LOOK AT WHAT WE'VE ACCOMPLISHED!
🏠 113 residents served through our recovery housing program.
🏘️ 19 housing units providing safe, supportive recovery-focused housing.
💗 80% Housing Retention — 48 out of 60 residents measured maintained housing for at least 90 days.
💼 90% Employment Outcomes — 72 out of 80 residents measured achieved employment outcomes.
⚖️ 92.2% No Recidivism/Incarceration — 83 out of 90 residents measured had no recorded incarceration during the applicable reporting period.
These aren't just numbers. These are PEOPLE. These are FAMILIES. These are SECOND CHANCES.
And behind every number is a person working to rebuild their life.
💰 $234,800 RAISED TO SUPPORT OUR MISSION!
We are incredibly grateful for the financial support of the City of Cincinnati Human Services Fund, Greater Cincinnati Foundation, United Way of Greater Cincinnati, and Case Western Reserve University.
We've also worked alongside incredible community partners to connect residents with workforce development, financial literacy, mental health services, substance use treatment, community gardening, and opportunities for personal growth.
🌱 AND WE'RE JUST GETTING STARTED!
As we enter Year Two, our vision is to expand recovery housing, strengthen housing retention, continue developing our behavioral health and substance use treatment services, pursue Joint Commission accreditation, and create even more opportunities for residents to achieve long-term independence.
Our goal has never been just to provide someone with a place to stay. Our goal is to help people build a life they are proud to live.
To our residents: Your courage, growth, and determination are the real success stories behind this report.
To our staff, partners, funders, and everyone who has believed in our mission: THANK YOU! 💕
And to the City of Cincinnati Human Services Fund, thank you for investing in recovery, housing stability, and the future of our community.
