Burlington County elections officials are reminding voters that the county’s 29 ballot drop boxes are now available as a secure, convenient method to submit completed vote-by-mail ballots.

Voters can submit vote-by-mail (VBM) ballots at any of the 29 secure ballot drop boxes across Burlington County by 8 p.m. on Election Day. A full list of drop box locations is available at https://www.burlingtoncountynj.gov/2102/Secure-Ballot-Drop-Boxes .

Surveillance video cameras monitor the drop boxes, and only authorized Election Board workers have access to them. A team of two election workers – one Republican and one Democrat— collects ballots each day and brings them to the Burlington County Elections building, where they are securely stored until counting begins.

Join us tomorrow, Friday Sept. 18 from 5-6, for our weekly peaceful protest. Most residents who signed up for a vote by mail ballot received them this week. We encourage everyone to fill them out asap and put them in an official drop box! Please no election signs for a political party.

Cinnaminson! Have you received your Vote By Mail ballot? Remember to use the VBM drop box located at the Cinnaminson Town Hall.

Burlington County Clerk Joanne Schwartz today announced that more than 52,000 General Election vote-by-mail ballots are being mailed to registered voters who requested them.

Most voters should receive their ballot within two to three weeks. Mount Holly voters may experience a delay due to ongoing litigation involving a municipal candidate.

The deadline to apply to receive a ballot by mail is October 27. Voters can also apply in person through 3 p.m. on November 2.

Completed ballots can be returned by mail, at a Secure Ballot Drop Box, or in person to the Burlington County Board of Elections. Drop box and in-person returns must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day, November 3.
