Recycling bins at the Service Center on Island Road in Circleville are currently being removed for the Pumpkin Show. They will return once festival activities are over.

🎃 Put down the bin! Pumpkin plastic buckets are NOT recyclable. 🙅‍♂️♻️

Those bright orange plastic jack-o'-lantern buckets we use for trick-or-treating cannot go into your standard recycling bin.

We attended the Harvesting Hope Tour: Farms, Faith & Food banks event, right here in our district (Fayette County) today at Cockerill Berkshire Farm (affiliated with Saddleberk Farms). In attendance with us today, the Ohio EPA division of Solid Waste and State Representative Bob Peterson.
This event celebrated Ohio’s Food Program and how collaboration is expanding access to local, nutritious food for Ohioans facing hunger and how small farms like these are curbing food waste and making a big impact!
Thank you, Cockerill Family Farms!

💡 Did you know that small acts can spark huge change? 🌍

Recycling just ONE glass bottle saves enough energy to:

💡 Light a 100-watt bulb for 4 hours

💻 Power a computer for 30 minutes

📺 Run a television for 20 minutes

Because glass can be recycled endlessly without ever losing its quality, every single jar and bottle you rinse and toss into the recycling bin helps slash energy consumption.

Next time you finish a drink or empty a jar, remember the power hidden inside that single piece of glass! ♻️✨

Got extra office or school supplies lying around? Put them to good use instead of the landfill!

Our District office is gladly accepting unwanted supplies. Items can be used or partial, as long as they are still in good condition—such as open boxes of pens, partial reams of paper, or gently used craft paint.

All donated supplies stay right here at our office, completely free for any student, teacher, or club to use.

Unsure if we'll take a specific item? Reach out to us at [email protected] for more details! Let's keep usable materials out of the landfill together. 📚✏️♻️
