A few more moments from RWA’s 25th anniversary celebration last week, made possible by the organizations who sponsored the evening.

Thank you to BKS Law Firm for the welcome toast, Woodard & Curran for the bar, Placer County Water Agency for dessert, Wood Rodgers, Inc. for the fleece blankets, City of Roseville Utilities for the power packs, and HDR for the insulated lunch bags. We’re also grateful to Sacramento Suburban Water District for their support.

What a night celebrating 25 years of RWA! Thank you to everyone who joined for an evening of conversation, connection and a look at what comes next.

We were honored to have Assemblymember Cecilia Aguiar-Curry, Congressman Ami Bera and Congressman Kevin Kiley celebrating with us and sharing their appreciation for RWA’s work, and to receive a resolution from Senator Angelique Ashby honoring our 25th anniversary.

Thank you to KCRA Climate Reporter and Chief Meteorologist Heather Waldman for joining RWA Executive Director Jim Peifer for a thoughtful conversation about our changing climate and how we can prepare for what’s ahead. As Jim said, “water is the ultimate team sport,” and we left the evening energized for the next 25 years of regional collaboration.

And thank you again to our sponsors, Woodard & Curran City of Roseville Utilities. HDR, Wood Rodgers, Inc., Placer County Water Agency, BKS Law Firm, and Sacramento Suburban Water District for helping make the evening possible.

Later this week, we’ll gather to celebrate that work and the people and partnerships behind it.

Thank you to Woodard & Curran, City of Roseville Utilities, HDR, Wood Rodgers, Inc., Placer County Water Agency, BKS Law Firm, and Sacramento Suburban Water District for sponsoring the celebration and helping us raise a glass to 25 years of working together. Cheers to the next 25!
