Siren has been more curious about us each visit to the house we are remodeling. Hopefully we can gain her trust so she can be spayed and vaccinated and 🤞 someone who sees these updates will fall in love with her and giver a home.

In honor of National Bobcat Day here a cute pic of Brystal getting some fresh air and sunshine during his brief time under our care 😻 Brystal would get playtime in this space while his room was being cleaned by lodging staff 😂

Victor and I recently rescued a bobcat kitten found orphaned near our home. After caring for him for several weeks we transferred him to Owl's Nest Sanctuary for Wildlife where he will finish out his rehabilitation. Stay tuned for some super cute photos and videos of Brystal while under our care! If you would like to help fund his ongoing rehab please make a contribution directly to Owl’s Nest.

Victor and I have been remodeling a house that was in complete ruins at the hand of the previous tenant. In addition to destroying the property they also abandoned their cat who has taken up residence in a decrepit boat on an adjacent property. From day one she greeted us with her incessant dainty mews in hopes of a meal. I have been calling her Siren. In Greek mythology a siren would tempt sailors with their sweet song causing them to wreck their ships. A fitting name for this lady who has claimed this ship as her own. As for the meals…you bet she gets them! Every visit! She is quite timid and will only allow us within 6-8 feet of her at the moment. 🤞 hopefully we will earn her trust very soon 🧜‍♀️

What a day! 3 years since we last rescued a wild bobcat…time flies, but bobcat catching skills are still on point 😅
