•Chippewa County Mock Crash• 🚒🚑🚨

Thanks to the many partners on the Chippewa County mock crash committee & our speaker, Tara Lalim for spending the time to educate our students on individual choices & the outcomes that come with that!

•Stay substance free and make safe choices.
•Never ride with someone who has been drinking or using substances.
•Have a backup ride or a trusted adult you can call, no questions asked.
•Speak up if a friend is about to make an unsafe choice.

One good decision can change how the night ends. Your future is worth it!

A good take home message from the Chippewa County Mock Crash today! Be safe!

🏈 Homecoming is about making memories, not taking risks!

As students head to games, dances and celebrations, take a minute to talk about the most important part of the night: getting home safely.
Parents, students, teachers and friends all have a role to play. Make the plan before the fun begins:
✅Stay substance free and make safe choices.
✅Never ride with someone who has been drinking or using substances.
✅Have a backup ride or a trusted adult you can call, no questions asked.
✅Speak up if a friend is about to make an unsafe choice.

One good decision can change how the night ends.
Your future is worth it!

Have fun. Look out for each other. And make it home safe! 💙

🚌 School buses are back on the road, and that means it’s time for all of us to slow down and pay attention!

A few extra seconds of patience can help keep a child safe.

🛑 When the red lights are flashing and the stop arm is out...STOP!
👀 Watch for children crossing the street or walking near bus stops.
🚗 Give buses plenty of space and never try to pass a stopped school bus.
📵 Put the phone down and keep your eyes on the road.

Their school day starts and ends with a safe ride. Let’s help make sure they get there safely!

HAVE A GREAT & SAFE SCHOOL YEAR!
