Leadership Clarinda's first session of the 2026-2027 year started with a fantastic day! The cohort heard from Ritchie Chieves (left in the photo) of Build U Coaching to discuss their DISC personality assessment and how understanding our different behavior profiles (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, & Conscientiousness) can help improve communication, teamwork, and productivity.

The group also got to know Leadership Clarinda facilitator MikeChristi Anderson (right in the photo) as he explained his background as a leader in Clarinda. We are fortunate to have Mike attend each of this year's sessions to facilitate debriefing at the close of each session.

Meet the Leadership Clarinda Planning Committee! Austin, Mike, Chad, Kerry, Elaine, Andrew, & Beckie have been working hard to support Clarinda's Vision35 through the creation of this new leadership program.

Leadership Clarinda is a 9-month leadership development program that will meet once each month Sept. 2026 - May 2027 with the mission to prepare emerging leaders for roles of public influence and decision-making.
