This person was stopped by Deputy Dodge just west of Keokuk on C54 last night for 106mph in a 60mph zone!! When asked if there was a reason for the speed they calmly replied “nope”. SLOW DOWN AND DRIVE SAFE!

This goes for the entire State of Iowa! Pay attention to the speed signs so you don’t end up meeting one of us!

Even though the speed limit is changing, if the signs show 55 the speed limit is still 55. Please be patient with the crews while they get them changed across the state of Iowa.

The actual speed observed by this deputy was 101 in a 55 zone on Highway 17 just south of Eagle Grove! The reason? Late for work…. Also cited No Valid DL, No Proof of Insurance, Registration Transfer Violation. Not only was he now going to be even more late for work but this incident cost him $1352.75 in citations!!!
