Blue Star Families know a different kind of service. It’s loving someone who has raised their right hand and promised to defend our country. It’s missed holidays, changed plans, long distances, late-night worry and learning to treasure every phone call and homecoming.
It’s an incredible amount of pride mixed with a kind of sacrifice that can be difficult to explain unless you’ve lived it.
Our military families may not wear the uniform, but they serve in their own way — holding down homes, raising families, sending encouragement across the miles and standing strong behind the men and women who protect our freedom.
That is why supporting our military must also mean supporting the families who love and stand behind them.
And through it all, we will forever hold our Gold Star Families with the deepest honor and gratitude, never forgetting the sacrifice they and their heroes have made.
