WORKING TOGETHER TO KEEP OUR COMMUNITY SAFE

The Clarkesville Police Department and the City of Clarkesville were honored to host a Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management Training presented by David Shanks with GEMA/HS.

The training brought together community partners from state, county, and local law enforcement, along with faculty and administrators from public and private schools across Georgia.

Participants received critical instruction and practical tools to help recognize concerning behaviors, assess potential threats, and take appropriate steps to prevent acts of violence.

Strong partnerships and collaboration are essential to protecting our children, safeguarding our schools, and keeping our communities safe.

We sincerely thank David and his partners for sharing their expertise and all of the participating agencies, school personnel, and community partners who dedicated their time to this important training.

YOU CAN HELP TOO!

Dear 7 Brew Coffee

Thanks to your coffee and drinks, our officers have officially gone from Patrol Mode to Warp Speed. 🚀☕

Response times are up, report writing speed has increased by 37%, and night shift officers are now capable of functioning before sunrise. 😀😃

We're not saying your drinks have superpowers... but we're also not not saying that.

Thank you for keeping our officers fueled!

Sincerely,
Clarkesville Police Department (currently operating at caffeine-enhanced speeds) 🚓💨

A huge THANK YOU to all of the officers who came out this morning and helped with the Mtn. Laurel Festival! 💙

Your hard work, professionalism, and willingness to serve helped make the event safe, successful, and enjoyable for everyone in our community. Events like these would not be possible without the teamwork and dedication you show every day. 👮‍♂️🤝

We also want to thank everyone who attended, supported the vendors, and spent part of their day celebrating with us. It was a great morning filled with community spirit and smiling faces.
