CFR is honored to once again partner with Manna Cafe Ministries for Combat Hunger.

Starting tomorrow, October 1, through October 24, you can stop by any of our 12 fire stations to drop off non-perishable food items.

Every donation helps provide food for our own neighbors, friends, and families right here in Montgomery County. We’re proud to be part of a community that takes care of its own.

Station 2 spent some time at The Youth Academy, giving the kids a look at Engine 2 and introducing them to a firefighter in full gear. The kiddos learned how the gear keeps them safe and helps them do their job.🚒

It was another sweet visit with the next generation of firefighters!❤

When charging on a plane, keep portable charging devices on the tray table. Do not charge devices in overhead compartments and never charge e-cigarettes or vapes on a plane. If a battery overheats or fails, it is important for the flight crew to be able to respond quickly.

CFR has teamed up with CADS TN and APSU’s Pi Kappa Alpha to bring Fire Safety Day to the community!🔥🚒

Join us at CFR Headquarters for a morning of fire safety education, safety demonstrations, family-friendly activities, and a chance to meet the first responders who help keep our community safe.

There will be FREE food and giveaways, so bring the whole family and come spend the morning with us! 🎉

Charge large items like e-bikes, scooters, and power tools outside when possible. Do not block exits when charging. These batteries store more energy, and fires can grow quickly if they fail.

We brought a little firehouse fun to story time at the North Branch Library!📚🚒

Captain Bryant read a book to the kiddos, and then they got to see a firefighter fully geared up before going outside to check out Ladder 6.

We always enjoy getting to make fire safety fun!🙌

Unplug your device when it is fully charged. Leaving it plugged in longer than needed can increase heat and stress on the battery.

Stop using your device right away if the battery smells strange, is warm to the touch, makes popping noises, changes in shape or color, or if you see smoke. If it is safe, move the device away from anything that can catch fire. A damaged battery can overheat and start a fire.
