Our CES teachers got a sweet little treat to help them float into fall break! 🎉 They enjoyed Fanta ice cream floats as a small thank-you for all the amazing things they do for our students each day.

We are so thankful for our hardworking teachers and all the ways they make Claxton Elementary School a special place to learn and grow. They are truly FANTA-STIC! 🐯💛🖤

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 24th, from 5:00–6:30 PM for an evening of Halloween fun in downtown Claxton! 🧡💜

Bring the family out to enjoy trick-or-treating with local merchants and fun activities focused on kids’ safety!

🏆 Costume Contest at 6:00 PM!

Each day, these individuals play an essential role in the success of our school system by ensuring that our students travel safely to and from school. Their commitment goes far beyond transportation. 📜🌍 WHO KNEW RUNNING A COUNTRY COULD BE SO COMPLICATED?! 🏛️👑🐅🖤💛

In Coach Lanier's World History class, his students put their knowledge of the Enlightenment, Absolutism, and the English and American Revolutions to the ultimate test with the Revolution Survival Challenge! 💥

Students split into groups representing an Absolute Monarchy, Constitutional Monarchy, Republic, and Direct Democracy. Working in teams, they created their own countries, established functioning governments, and faced a series of high-stakes political crises! 🗳️⚖️

From handling protests and raising taxes to protecting individual rights and preventing full-blown rebellions, every single decision directly impacted their nation’s Stability, Liberty, and Authority! 📊🔥

The catch? Students had to defend every decision using historical evidence and ideas from iconic Enlightenment thinkers like John Locke and Voltaire! 🧠📚

The Goal: Move beyond memorizing history and apply these lessons to real-world questions about leadership, government power, citizen rights, and political consequences. Safe to say, students quickly discovered that having the power to make a decision doesn’t always mean it’s the right decision! 💡

History isn’t just about the past—it’s about thinking critically to shape our world today as we Level Up together with one shared purpose under One Roar! ⚡
