Learning Together is a free event hosted by the School District of Clayton that's full of information to help kids learn and grow. Attendees can choose from sessions on digital safety, literacy, transitions, anxiety, and more. (Plus, an early preview of the new film Screenagers: Generation AI is planned.)

Learn alongside other Clayton families about raising readers, supporting anxious kids, keeping children safe online, and more.

This event is open to everyone in the community, not just families of children in Clayton Schools. Free childcare is available for kids 4+.

Have you visited Clayton’s newest park?

Remembrance Park, located at 7811 Maryland Ave. in the heart of downtown Clayton, opened in June 2025 and offers a quiet place to relax, read, play chess or make a quick fix to your bike.

The park honors the contributions of Clayton’s historic Black community and other communities whose stories have been left out of the City’s history. One of its unique features is a living plant wall, designed and maintained by the City’s Parks team, that incorporates stained glass windows and a fountain.

You’ll also find a bike repair station equipped with an air pump and tools, along with tables featuring built-in chess boards for visitors to enjoy.

Next time you’re walking through downtown Clayton, stop by Remembrance Park and explore all it has to offer!

City Council Recap (10/13): Citadel Prime, bringing the Delmonico’s legacy to Clayton, was approved for the former Tony’s space at 105 Carondelet Plaza.

For Halloween night, temporary propane lights will brighten key intersections in tornado-impacted neighborhoods until 9:30 p.m.

Council also renewed our 30-year fiber partnership with CenturyLink and the School District of Clayton and canceled the November 24 meeting.

And goats are coming to Oak Knoll Park to tackle the honeysuckle!
