✨ FROM ADDICTION TO A GUIDING LIGHT ✨

For 12 years, Ashley York battled addiction, losing nearly everything along the way. But her story didn't end there.

Today, she's turning her darkest chapters into hope for other women through Women of Worth Recovery right here in Rabun County. ❤️

Her journey is one of heartbreak, resilience, faith, and second chances. A powerful reminder that your past does not define your future, and no one is beyond hope.

Behind every struggle is a person. Behind every person is a story worth telling.

📖 Read Ashley's inspiring story in the November issue of Our List and discover how one woman's journey to recovery is helping others find their way.

I’m honored to share Ashley York’s powerful journey—a story of addiction, recovery, resilience, and finding purpose on the other side.

This is a must-read for anyone battling addiction, and for the families who love them but may be struggling to understand how to help, when to step in, and when to set boundaries.

Ashley’s story is raw, real, and deeply personal—but most importantly, it’s a reminder that recovery is possible and hope is never out of reach.

We’re also celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15–October 15, and the Hispanic community that contributes so much to Rabun County.

If you haven’t already, read and share Daniela Cintron's story—a beautiful reminder that growing up in a small town doesn’t mean your dreams have to be small. Along with Gunner Stockton and Charlie Woerner, Daniela shows us that big dreams can begin right here in Rabun County. Each is making our community proud in their own way—and reminding the next generation of what’s possible. ❤️
