We're thrilled to announce that two new members have joined our club family. Please join us in welcoming Bob Stangler and Kyle McCann to the Clear Lake Lions Club!

Both bring their own talents, energy, and dedication to service, and we couldn't be more excited to have them as members. Their willingness to give their time and energy to our mission is exactly what makes this organization strong.

On Sunday we joined the Clearwater Lions in hosting a luncheon for 35 youth in the Lions Youth Exchange program at the Clearwater Food Shelf. They got a tour of the food shelf and had a delicious lunch catered by Bowl’d in Becker. They each signed a 5M flag and presented it to Judy (video in the Comments). It was such a treat to visit with these young adults for a few hours!!!

What a great night to end the Palmer Ball season. We gave out free hot dogs and ice cream to all of the players and coaches and they shared their medals and smiles with us! 🤗 We hope to see you all back next year 🥎

The Clear Lake Lions are proud to be a sponsor of the Inaugural Oakwood Derby hosted by Midwest Wooden Toys, LLC. Spots are filling up so sign up today!!!!

Midwest Wooden Toys, LLC in Clear Lake is proud to announce its Inaugural Oakwood Derby on Saturday morning, July 25, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m. This FREE EVENT will be for all kids between the ages of five (5) and nine (9) as of July 25th. Registration will be available at Briggs Lake General Store on Saturday, July 18th, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., or until all fifty (50) race cars have been distributed.

This event will be limited to fifty (50) participants, so the “first come, first served” principal will be applied. At registration, kids will receive their race car, a box of dry erase markers to decorate the car the way they like, a list of the rules and regulations, a registration form to be completed by a legal parent, or guardian who accompanies the child to the registration and a coupon for a free ice cream cone at the Briggs Lake General Store. Trophies will be awarded for first, second and third place. All the kids will receive a participation ribbon.

The event is sponsored by Midwest Wooden Toys, LLC, the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Department, Travis William’s State Farm Insurance, Briggs Lake General Store, Clear Lake Lions, and Scout Troop 94 of Clear Lake. The location of the race is 11746 42nd Street SE, Clear Lake, two miles East of Palmer on 42nd Street. Parking will be at 11746, 11756, or on the North side of 42nd Street. Free coffee and water will be available, as well as porta potties.

Again, this is limited to just fifty (50) participants, so to assure a place for your child, get to the registration early. Let’s all remember that this is for fun, so everyone needs to be patient, respectful and willing to make adjustments, as this is a first-time event. Hope to see you there! Thanks!
