OUR MISSION - “Strengthening communities in Centre and Clearfield counties by helping families and individuals to become self-sufficient.”

Community Action was initially established on November 14, 1965 and was incorporated as Central Pennsylvania Community Action, Inc. The organization embarked on providing services to families and individuals with low to moderate incomes in Centre and Clearfield counties. Today, we have five outreach office locations: Clearfield, Houtzdale, Philipsburg, Bellefonte and Aaronsburg. With locations throughout the two counties, CPCA is able to provide our programs and services to the communities, families and individuals we support.
