Live Oak Senior Center It is our mission to aid our senior citizens in maintaining the best quality of life. Lunches:
Senior, 60+ - $4.00
Non Senior, up to 60 - $8.00

We offer congregate lunches, home-delivered meals, social programs, outreach, and transportation by wheelchair-accessible van for individuals age 60+.

So, what's happening in October 2026?
• October 1: International Coffee Day and World Vegetarian Day.
• October 4–10: Fire Prevention Week.
• October 10: World Mental Health Day.
• October 12: Columbus Day, Canadian Thanksgiving, and Indigenous Peoples' Day.
• October 17: Diwali (Festival of Lights).
• October 31: Halloween and Reformation Day.
Skywatching and Astronomy
• October 8–9: Draconid meteor shower peak.
• October 21–22: Orionid meteor shower peak.
• Planetary sights: Saturn at opposition and a lunar occultation of Jupiter.
