Sunday July 20th, the Station crew responded to a report of a vessel taking on water 20 miles west of John’s Pass, FL. The crew arrived on-scene and determined the vessel to be actively flooding and deployed crewmen and dewatering equipment to the vessel. We were assisted by Sea Tow Tampa Bay and other government agencies in saving the vessel from sinking.
The vessel and its occupants were safely escorted back to John’s Pass to their trailer. We want to thank all who were involved and assisted in this rescue!
