Sometimes what seems like an ordinary Wednesday can become something extraordinary 🩵

Yesterday, Holocaust survivors from across Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Pasco counties came together for food, conversation, and fun.

As individuals age, they can become lonely. Events like this give our Survivors the chance to connect and socialize with others. The result is a room full of different stories and different languages, all brought together in friendship.

Egret Housing is located near Main Street in New Port Richey, FL. All units are ADA-compliant, with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and a patio.

All applicants must be considered low-income and on disability to apply.

What a wonderful celebration of Sukkot! ✨ More than 100 community members gathered at Temple Emanu-El Sarasota for an evening filled with connection and music from a Klezmer band.

A little rain didn’t get in the way of an incredible day of welcoming! 🌧️

In September, libraries across Pinellas County came together to collect household essentials for newcomers to our community in honor of Welcoming Week. This year’s collection was extra special as we celebrated 10 years of helping neighbors in need. 📚

And what a milestone it was! This year, the libraries collected a record-breaking 217 baskets of essential goods, bringing the 10-year total to more than 1,400 baskets!

After a morning of carrying baskets and loading cars full of donations, these essentials are now on their way to help our clients as they settle into their new communities. 💙

Thank you to Safety Harbor Public Library, Largo Public Library, Palm Harbor Library, Barbara S Ponce Public Library of Pinellas Park, and everyone who helped make this year’s collection such a success!
