Our first Tiger Buck Store of the school year was a success! 🐯

As part of our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program, students earn Tiger Bucks for demonstrating positive behavior, participating in class, making good choices, and more!

Students can spend their hard-earned Tiger Bucks on fun rewards at the Tiger Buck Store or save them up to purchase a ticket to our quarter incentive event.

We love seeing our Tigers recognized and rewarded for making positive choices.

Teams from both our Clearwater and North campuses competed in their first VEX Robotics competition of the season last weekend and showed up ready to impress!

We're so proud of the teamwork, determination, and problem-solving skills our students demonstrated. We can't wait to see how they continue to learn, grow, and take on new challenges throughout the season!

🌙🪨 Talk about an out-of-this-world STEM experience!

We were incredibly honored to have ACTUAL moon rocks and meteorites visit DAS! Our students had the rare opportunity to see real samples from beyond Earth right inside their own classrooms. 🚀✨

Our STEM Coordinator, Dr. Bradner, traveled to different classrooms sharing lessons, answering questions, and helping students take a closer look at these incredible pieces of space history.

How often can you say you saw something that actually came from the Moon during the school day?! 🤯 Experiences like this are what make STEM learning so memorable!

Ms. Cubbage’s kindergarten class teamed up with Ms. Streber’s 3rd grade class for some creative STEM and art fun inspired by The Dot! 🎨🔵

After both classes read the book, our students came together for hands-on activities that encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. We especially loved seeing our 3rd graders step into leadership roles as they worked alongside and supported their kindergarten buddies!

Cross-grade collaboration is such a fun way for our younger students to learn from their older peers while giving our older students the opportunity to lead, encourage, and inspire.

We’re excited to share that we’ve added a Perry Weather station to our Clearwater campus! 🌦️⚡

This new technology takes campus safety to the next level by providing 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. It will let our team know when action is needed for conditions such as lightning, heat index, and other weather-related concerns, allowing us to make faster, more informed decisions to keep our students and staff safe.

And there’s an added bonus: our students will also be able to use the weather station for some very cool 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, exploring real data collected right here on our own campus. See less

We had so much fun sharing the wonderful world of STEAM at the Great Explorations Children's Museum IGNITE Science Festival this weekend! 🚀🤖

Our FLL Robotics Team set up LEGO ecosystems, while festival-goers also got hands-on with straw rockets, galaxy pinwheels, and constellation finders. From engineering and science to art and imagination, creativity was shining all around! ✨

We loved getting to share our passion for STEAM with the community and inspiring young minds to explore, create, and discover! ❤️🐯
