We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our board representatives, the ladies auxiliary, and our families for their invaluable support during our recent fundraiser, which proved to be a successful event.
The firefighter hose-off competition was an engaging experience, and we are proud to have secured both first and third place. Congratulations to the Grandview Volunteer Fire Department for their second-place finish, and we appreciate the participation of the Rio Vista Fire Department; we look forward to your return next year. We hope to increase participation among other departments in the future to further enhance the competitive spirit of the event.
It was a pleasure to see the children enjoying the various activities, particularly the mini firefighter games.
This year marked our inaugural attempt at preparing pulled pork and chicken, and we were pleased to receive several positive compliments regarding the quality of the meal.
We wish to thank everyone who attended and supported the fire department, and we hope all participants had an enjoyable experience. We look forward to hosting this event again next year.
