Who knew on this day 156 years ago that a baby born in Chiaravalle, Italy would become an extraordinary physician and scientist. A woman who would develop revolutionary ideas centered around treating children with respect and recognizing that within each child lies a spiritual embryo, a nature of sorts that if nurtured in a well prepared environment and by well prepared adults would allow that child to reach their full potential and truly flourish. A woman whose educational method is supported by modern day neuroscience and is implemented across the globe. Happy Birthday Maria Montessori! We aim to honor you today and everyday by nurturing the potential in each and every child in our presence.

“Best day ever” say the kiddos!

How can you not love this picture? 💙 😆
No screens. No Wi-Fi. No filters.

Just two girls gone wild... covered in mud, full of laughter, and learning more than they even realize.

THIS is childhood.
THIS is outdoor learning.
THIS is what growing wild hearts in wild places looks like. 🌿💦
